मुखौटा

ये वो नहीं …और वो जो है , वो वैसा नहीं है जैसा दिख रहा है !!!

 मुखौटा लगा रखा है यहाँ सबने। 

मुखौटा के पीछे छिपा चेहरा या तो सुन्दर , या फिर कुरूप हो सकता है।

सच्चाई  बताने या सच्चाई छिपाने , विशवास जीतने या विशवास  तोड़ने ,घबरा कर या मज़ाक में ,

ना जाने किस कारण, लगा रखा है मुखौटा लोगो ने।  

परत दर परत मुखौटा अपनी पकड़ मजबूत बना लेता है लोगो के चहरे पर। 

फिर अपनी छाप भी लगता है ये मुखौटा। 

यदि सच जानने की हिम्मत है ,तो ही मुखौटा के पीछे छुपे असली चेहरा देखने की  कोशिश करना ,

वर्ना ये मुखौटा लगे लोगो के साथ ही जीये। 

बेचारा अज्जू

कुछ दिनों पूर्व हमारे परिचित त्रिपाठी जी सपरिवार घर पधारे.परिवार में मात्र तीन सदस्य ,त्रिपाठी जी ,उन की पत्नी और अज्जू उन का १० साल का बेटा। 

आते ही त्रिपाठी जी  बोले, "आज तो हम आप के पास काम से आये हैं"

अब यह भी कोई कहने की बात है क्या , आज कल कोई किसी के पास बैगर काम के जाता है क्या ?

श्रीमति त्रिपाठी ने हमारे कान मे फुसफुसाते हुए कहा, "यह अज्जू किसी की सुनता ही नहीं ,आप तो स्कूल टीचर है न,एक से एक शरारती बच्चो को ठीक किया होगा ,ज़रा इसे भी समझाइये ना "


श्रीमति त्रिपाठी का यह कथन हमारी समझ से परे था , बच्चे को तो माँ बाप भी समझा सकते हैं। 

इसी बीच त्रिपाठी जी बोले ,"सभी जगह से इस कि एक ही शिकायत सुनने को मिलती  है  कि ये 'सुनता नहीं' घर मे हम लोगों की ,स्कूल मे टीचर की सुनता ही नहीं. अभी से यह हाल है तो बड़े हो कर तो हमे देखेगा भी नहीं. पता नहीं क्या हो गया है आज कल के बच्चो को ?"

"अरे नहीं ..." हमने बोलना शुरू ही किया था कि  हमारी बात बीच में ही काटते  हुए श्रीमति त्रिपाठी ने अपना दुःख  व्यक्त किया,"अज्जू का रिपोर्ट कार्ड लेने "ये" तो जाते नहीं, मै जाती हूँ तो सभी टीचर्स मुझ से ही शिकायत करते हैं.अपनी नानी के यहाँ गया,तब वहां  भी इस ने मेरी एक भी बात पर ध्यान नहीं दिया ."ये" तो मेरी तकलीफे समझते नहीं बल्कि मुझे ही डाँटते है कि सब तुम्हारे ही लाड प्यार  का नतीजा है ."

त्रिपाठी जी इतना सुनते ही भड़क गए ,"अरे ! गलती तो तुम्हारी ही है.जब देख रही हो कि बेटा बिगड़ रहा है,तो कुछ तो करना ही होगा ना,अब मैं कुछ बोलू भी नहीं क्या ? वैसे  भी तुम मेरी बात  "सुनती"  कहाँ हो ."
त्रिपाठी जी को ये गवारा नहीं था कि उन की बीबी उन पर इलज़ाम लगाये . मेरी तरफ देखते हुवे दीन स्वर मे बोले , "मेरी तो घर में  कोई "सुनता " ही नहीं .अब ये हमारा अज्जू ,बहार खेलने के बजाय दिन भर कंप्यूटर या मोबाइल  पर गेम खेलता रहता है.रोटी से ज्यादा अच्छा इसे पिज्जा,बर्गर  लगता है ,हरी सब्जी से तो इसे नफरत है .अब क्या बताए  आपको, जब कहता हूँ कि अज्जू ,बेटा ये करो या वो करो तो ये सुनता ही नहीं."

हमने त्रिपाठी दम्पति की समस्या बड़े ही ध्यान से सुनी,हमे लगा की अब समय आ गया है जब हम अपनी सूझ भुझ से समस्या का निवारण करें . फिर त्रिपाठी परिवार आया ही इसिलए है.
इसी मकसद से हमने अज्जू से बात करना शुरू किया "अच्छा तो अज्जू........."

हमारी बात काटते हुए त्रिपाठी जी बोले, " अरे आप मेरी बात पूरी तो होने दीजिये "

'कमाल है !!!!! तो अभी तक बात ख़त्म नहीं हुई थी ',हमने मन ही मन सोचा ,पर प्रत्यक्ष में कहा, "  बोलिए ." 

"ये क्या बोलेंगे ,आप मेरी बात सुनिए ",श्रीमति त्रिपाठी ने आँखे नचाते  हुवे कहा.

अब हम क्या कहते , हम तो जैसे सब की बात सुनने के लिए ही बैठे थे .

"सारी जिम्मेदारी क्या अकेले मेरी ही है ?"श्रीमति त्रिपाठी ने हम से पूछा .

"अरे नहीं ...."हमे ने उन के प्रशन का जवाब देना चाह पर 
 श्रीमति त्रिपाठी ने हमारी बात अनसुनी कर दी .फिर वो त्रिपाठी जी की तरफ देखते हुए बोलीं,"पढाई  में तो 'अज्जू के पापा' आप भी मेरी मदद कर सकते हैं ना ."

'अज्जू के पापा '  चुप...अज्जू चुप....हम !!!   हम  भी  चुप...

अज्जू  ने तो अब तक एक शब्द भी नहीं बोला था,वैसे देखा जाए तो हमने भी कुल मिला कर कोई दस ही शब्द  बोले होंगे.

"अज्जू सुन रहे हो ना ." श्रीमति त्रिपाठी अपने बेटे का धयान अपनी ओर खिचना चाह.

  

हमने बच्चे की तरफ देखा ,उसे तो इन सब बातो से कोई सरोकार ही नहीं था.चुपचाप नीच मुंह किये बैठा था . 

हमने बोलने की फिर कोशिश की , "अज्जू देखो मम्मी कुछ ...."

"मैंने कहा ना ये किसी की "सुनता" ही नहीं " अज्जू के पापा फिर कूद  पड़े बीच  में .

"तो आप कहा हमारी बात सुनते है ??" श्रीमति त्रिपाठी ने त्रिपाठी जी से पुछा .

"अच्छा !!! मैं ....मैं नहीं सुनता कि  तुम माँ  बेटा  नहीं सुनते ?"

समस्या विकट थी ,गहन अध्यन की आवश्यकता थी, यह जानने के लिए की कौन किस की नहीं  सुनता....हमे तो मालूम होता था की त्रिपाठी दम्पति किसी की नहीं सुनते .हम ने तो बोलने की कोशिश ही छोड़ दी त्रिपाठी दम्पति के  सामने .

कभी चुप ना रहने वाले त्रिपाठी जी ने हमे उलहना दिया ,"अरे ! आप तो कुछ बोल ही नहीं रहीं ? बोलिए  ना कुछ अज्जू को "

अपने पुराने  बोलने के विफल प्रयासों को भुलाते हुए बोलने के लिए फिर से मुँह खोला ही था ,पर हमारे शब्द किसी के कानो तक पहुँच पाते की उस से पहले त्रिपाठी जी के शब्द गूँज उठे ,"अब आप भी क्या  कर सकती हैं ,यह अज्जू किसी की सुनता ही नहीं है."

'जी नहीं अज्जू नहीं , आप दोनों किसी की नहीं सुनते  ' हमारा मन किया की हम  जोर से यह बात बोलो,पर जले भुने चुप ही रह गए .

और अपनी आदत के अनुसार कभी  ना चुप रहे वाले त्रिपाठी जी दार्शनिक  अंदाज़  बोले ," भगवान ने मनुष्य को एक मुंह और दो कान इसीलिए दीए  हैं कि वह ज़्यादा सुने और बोले कम ."
 हमे तो अपने कानो पर यकीन ही नहीं हो पा रहा था कि त्रिपाठी जी ,जो  किसी को अपने सामने बोलने का मौका नहीं देते , उन के यह सुविचार  है .
त्रिपाठी जी  ने आगे कहा  "पर आज कल यह  बात समझता ही कौन है ? सब बस यही चाहते हैं कि वो बोले और दुसरे सुने .मैं अपने बच्चे को यह शिक्षा देना चाहता हूँ की सब की सुनो .सुनने से ज्ञान बड़ता  है ."

जी हां- सुनने से ज्ञान बढता है , पर हमें अपने कानो पर यकीन ही नहीं हो रहा था की ये त्रिपाठी जी के सुविचार है. शायद ही त्रिपाठी जी ने अपने सामने किसी को बोलने का मौका दिया होगा (श्रीमति त्रिपाठी को "किसी " में शामिल न करे)...... लेकिन ये बात उन्हें कौन समझाए ? हम तो बिलकुल भी नही समझाने वाले पूजनीय त्रिपाठी जी को।  

उन्होंने हमे देखा  ,"क्यों सही कहा ना मैंने ?"
हम ने केवल सर हिलाकर अपनी स्वीकृति दी ( इस के सिवा हम कर भी क्या सकते थे )

" बहुत देर हो गई ,अब चलना चाहिए "श्रीमति त्रिपाठी ने कहा। 

हम ने कुछ नहीं  कहा ,वैसे कहने की जरुरत ही नहीं थी। 
त्रिपाठी दम्पति जैसे  लोग किसी की "सुनते " ही नही हैं। 
ऐसे लोग सिर्फ बोलना जानते हैं ,सुनना नहीं।

 अज्जू का कोई कसूर नहीं ,वो चाहा के भी नहीं बोल सकता ,उसे कोई सुनने वाला चाहिए ,कोई समझने वाला।  

ये केवल अज्जू  नही आज के हर व्यक्ति  की समस्या हैं।  बोलना और सुनाना सब चाहते हैं पर सुनना नहीं।

A Bond Beyond Blood Relation.

Rakhsha Bhandhan- a day to show your love to your sibling .Personally I believe u don't need a day or two in a year to show your love towards your sibling , neither  Rakhsha Bhandhan is a day meant only for brother or sister. In fact it is a day for siblings(of same gender), cousins or friends !!! Its depends on your relationship with them.

In the journey called LIFE u meet several people .And some time with some special people u find a special chemistry ....a divine bond.. u feel secure in their company or u become over protective for them.They may or may not be of your age ,gender, community but that does not make any difference.At some point u get a felling  ' s/he is just my bro / sis .' May be u have never said to them, but the warmth of there presence in your life makes u happy .

Celebrate the bond of love !!

Happy Rakhsha Bhandhan to each and all.

बाक़ी है

देश का कोना कोना घूम आया है वो ...
पर उसका अपने पडोसी के घर जाना ,तो अभी बाक़ी है.


चंद सिक्कों के लिए पत्थर  तोड़ता है वो...
पर उसका ,गुलामी की जंजीरे तोड़ना , तो अभी बाक़ी है .


गिर गिर के संभालने की आदत सी  हो गई है उसे ...
पर उस का  खुले आसमा में उड़ना, तो अभी बाक़ी है .


एक अर्सा गुजर  गया दोनों को साथ रहते रहते ...
पर उनका एक दूसरे को , समझना तो अभी बाक़ी है .


आंसू के  उस एक कतरे ने एहसास दिलाया उसे...
जिन्दा है वो  ,क्यूंकि उस में कुछ जज्बात तो अभी बाक़ी हैं .

Happiness :)

What is happiness????

When your boss/teacher notice & appreciate your small work, which you think nobody will notice ever...that feeling is happiness.

When your colleague/friend gives a lunch party on the same day when you forget to bring your lunch :D...that feeling is happiness.

                                                       

When you get a comfortable seat in public transport while going at work place...that feeling is happiness.

When you have a tough day & you find your favorite dish in lunch/dinner ...that feeling is happiness.

When your loved ones gifts  you what exactly you wants...that feeling is happiness.


When your elders showers unending blessings & affection on you.....that feeling is happiness.

When you get a call/text from some one whom you are missing badly....that feeling is happiness.

When you get a chance to take a soundless nap on a hectic day...that feeling is happiness.

When you see smile on the face of your loved ones...that feeling is happiness.

When you see innocent kids & remember your childhood...that feeling is happiness.

Means u can find happiness every where , any time , in small or big act ... actually its not outside its within u !!!!

Don’t SEARCH for it...grab it, snatch it !!!!

These are human emotions. Don’t fear or be embarrassed of them. Instead, embrace them; they are part of life.

 Be Happy, spread happiness!

Short inspirational Parable Of The Pencil

 Pencil story

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

"There are 5 things you need to know," he told the pencil, "Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be."

"One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone's hand."

"Two: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil."

"Three: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."

"Four: The most important part of you will always be what's inside."

"And Five: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write."

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.


Now replacing the place of the pencil with you.  Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

One: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God's hand. And allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess.

Allow this parable on the pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.

Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a change.

A short story I read and thought to share.......

Boy meets GOD

A little boy wanted to meet God.

He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and he started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman.

She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons.

The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase.

He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkies.

She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted !

They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave,but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later,his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you look so happy?"

He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home.

Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God."

However, before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Moral - Too often we underestimate the power of a touch ,a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Remember,we don't know what God will look like. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally.

TV Serials....

Sleep is one of the most popular way to kill time and the other way is watching Indian TV serials...they not only kill time but have ability to kill a person !!!!!!!!!!

While watching one of the serial, I noticed for about  5 mints none of the actors (do these so-called "actors" know acting?????) uttered a single word. Only I could hear was the horrible background music. Everything was stagnated,the only moving object was -camera. Camera was on the face of one actor, n then turned to second actor, obviously, it could not leave the third one. After taking round, the angle of camera changed , what I could see was the side view of those actors...so once again on screen faces of actors were flashing. Finally, after about 5 mints, one of the actor came out of vow of silence and spoke first dialogue of that day in serial...those unforgettable words were-"KYA KHAHA??".But kisko kisne kya kaha....it was a mystery.Ho sakta hai..in previous episode of the serial (which I missed) someone had said something and this kya kaha was in reference to that only. I waited anxiously for the next dialogue but…….. Alsh! There was a break.............

Ahhhhh....... break it took me out form the monotonous background music, on my screen I saw Shaharuk Khan endorsing "mardo wali FAIR AND LOVELY cream", Amithab Bachhan saying-"lagaiye NAVRATAN tel", Kareena Kapoor dancing and singing on "phate gaal wale BOROPLUS laga le."

Break gives us sufficient time to check SMS or to serve food or do some chota mota work.

Anyways....after break I again fixed my eyes on TV screen with a hope of few dialogue n something interesting in serial. Suddenly  the background music stopped ,my heart missed a beat as I thought that any actor of the serial would come out of the killing "moun vrat".To my disappointment -nothing which I envisaged happen, no dialogue, no change in facial expressions of artist, even camera also refused to move and change angle. I explained myself-may be......... on the shooting of that episode the dialogue script was stolen by one of the die heart fan of the serial...or may be frustrated producer of the serial torned it into pieces...and thus the director of the serial directed actors to just stand in front of camera.

That scene left me with baffled, I found myself gritting my teeth! 

The next scene was of fully furnished Hi Tec kitchen, where 3 beautiful actresses were in  heavy dresses, jewelry and make up(including granny of the serial). They were preparing food, or rather I would say rotating spoon in kadhai.(serials mi sara khana chamach hilate huve hi ban jata h) . The actresses were living example of matching center-it was really irritating (one must follow serials to know what NOT to wear). The granny in the serial wore a white silk sari (with kundan work on it),pearl set, what captured my attention was the strip of white hair, granny's(according to serial her age was 60+) hair was jet black ,n there was only A strip of white hair !! No doubt the make up of other 2 ladies was spectacular,it  hardly matter that they were working in kitchen. Actually, the director of the serial wants to convey a simple msg-"Remain well dress, irrespective to the work u are doing .Remember, no work is big or small." (So next time if ur maid is on leave and u have to broom or to wash utensils, don’t neglect ur cloths and do proper make up). 

While cooking food they were only looking at each other n then after few mints I heard a line-"aap chaliye maaji,mai aur bahoo khana laga dete h"....... Oh My GOD !!!!! the lady pronounced more words than what I anticipated. I was contented ! Expecting more dialogue in the same episode was foolishness.

I decided not to punish my self more, so I switched off the TV.

I develop a high sense respect for all those who regularly watch such serials; they definitely must have a lot of patience.

Just have a look at the name of some TV serials:-

* Sasural gandha phool
*Sajan re jhoonth mat bolo
*Ye pyar haye
*Bade acche lagte hai,ye dharti,ye amber,ye nadiya,aur tum...
*Is pyar ko mai kya naam doon

Well yes ! These titles r the lines form Hindi songs...may be in future we have titles of serials like:-

*Munni badnam hui
*Shadi ban gai umar kaid ki saza
*Tujhe bhoola diya
*Dhinchak dhinchak a, a,a, re, re, re.

माँ.........

कही पढ़ा था- माँ वो होती है जिस के आँचल मे पूरा विश्व समां जाये ! 

कितना प्यारा शब्द है माँ ...ऐसा लगता है कि इस शब्द मे ही जादू है.

सच मे माँ जादूगर होती है अपने बच्चो के लिए.जाने कैसे अपने बच्चो की मन की हर बात पढ़

लेती है माँ ,दिल की हर बात समझ जाती है माँ. 

आप कितनी भी तकलीफ मे क्यों न हो,बस अपनी माँ से शेयर कर ले और देखे चमत्कार.

उन के शब्द -"बेटा सब ढीक हो जायेगा " मे जाने क्या power tonic  होता है,कि खोया 

आत्म विश्वास फिर लौट आता है.यदि आप शेयर नहीं भी करते है,तब भी माँ समझ जाती है 

कि आप परेशान है,आप का चेहरा देख कर या आवाज़ सुन कर....और कभी कभी तो बिना 

चेहरा देखे और बिना आवाज़ सुने भी माँ तकलीफे समझ जाती है..और फिर माँ पता नहीं भगवान 

से ऐसा क्या कहती है कि धीरे धीरे सब ढीक होने लगता है.(मैंने कहा ना जादूगर होती है माँ)

आपने बच्चे के लिए माँ की telepathy  बहुत strong  होती है.

बीमारी मे माँ का एक स्पर्श ही काफी है,जो आराम दवाइयां नहीं दे पाती वो आराम माँ का स्पर्श

दे जाता है...माँ जब आप के सर पर हाथ रखती है,तो बहुत सुकून मिलता है... लगता है,

रेगिस्तान मे बारिश कि बूँद गिर रही हो,सर्दियों मे धूप खिल उठी हो जैसे.माँ वह होती है,

जो आपको दुनिया की हर परेशानी से बचाती है.भगवान का दूसरा रूप है माँ.     

प्रसून जोशी का माँ पर लिखा एक बहुत ही प्यारा गीत है -

माँ  मेरी  माँ  प्यारी  माँ ..मम्मा.

हाथो की लकीरे बदल जायेगी,

गम की ये जंजीरे पिघल जायेगी. 

हो  खुदा  पे भी असर,

तू  दुआओं का है घर. 
माँ मेरी  माँ  मेरी  माँ  प्यारी  माँ ..

बिगड़ी किस्मत भी  सवर जायेगी,

ज़िन्दगी  तराने  ख़ुशी  के  गाएगी.

माँ  मेरी  माँ  प्यारी  माँ ..मम्मा. 

इन lines ने सब कुछ कह दिया माँ के चमत्कारों के बारे मे...

हम चाहे कितने ही बड़े क्यों न हो जाये,माँ के लिए तो बच्चे ही रहेगे,और बड़े हो जाने पर भी, 

माँ जब छोटी से छोटी बातो मे भी हमारा ख्याल रखती है ना तो बहुत अच्छा लगता है.

बहार जाते समय-"अच्छे से जाना","टाइम पर खाना खा लेना","पहुंचाते ही फ़ोन करने",

"slow drive करना/सड़क ध्यान से cross करना"...आदि जुमलो से माँ का प्यार 

झलकता है.जब बहुत दिनों बाद घर लोटे अपने बच्चे को माँ देखती है,तो कहती है-

"कितना दुबला/दुबली हो गया/गई है,अब घर आ गए हो न,मै अच्छा खाना खिलाऊंगी."

और सच मै माँ के बनाये खाने का स्वाद कही और मिल ही नहीं सकता.

Y  MOM  is  special ....

When I came home in the rain,
BROTHER asked y didn't u take an umbrella?

SISTER adviced y didn't u wait till rain stopped ?
FATHER angrily warned,only after getting cold, U'll realize.

But MOTHER, while drying my hair,said,
Stupid  Rain !! Couldn't it wait, Till my child came home .

Thats the Magic of  Mom !!
